The Visual Object Tracking (VOT) Challenge Series has received the PAMI Mark Everingham Prize at ECCV 2026, in recognition of its long-standing contribution to the computer vision community.
Since 2013, VOT has brought together the visual tracking community through a continuous series of challenges and workshops, establishing rigorous evaluation methodologies, benchmarks, datasets, and open-source tools. The award recognizes the VOT team and its collaborators “for the series of Visual Object Tracking workshops and challenges that have shaped the modern synthesis of visual object tracking.”
We thank all researchers, challenge participants, organizers, and collaborators who have contributed to VOT over the years and made this achievement possible.
